CTC Member Privileges

Member is acquiring a BLUE membership into Condominium Travel Club, Inc. (CTC). CTC is a licensed and bonded seller of travel services providing its members with access to certain vacation and travel products. CTC provides members a service to access private condominium and travel related benefits described in (“ Exhibit A”) BLUE BENEFITS attached. CTC will use its professional accommodation specialists to secure travel requests or members can book their own itinerary through our website.

 

Dues

You will not be allowed to use CTC services unless your dues are current and paid for the year. Dues expire one year from the date of your signed membership application. If you do not keep your BLUE membership current your membership will be terminated. There will be a charge of $99.00 to reinstate you to the BLUE level of membership.

 

Annual Dues Increases

The amount of your annual dues may be increased each year, upon 30 days advance written notice, by the percentage increase in the Consumer Price Index for the calendar year prior to the year for which the increase is being made. Consumer Price Index means the consumer price index for all urban consumers as reported by the United States Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Disclosure and Responsibility

 

  • CTC and its travel suppliers have developed a unique relationship with many resorts, properties and travel companies that find it mutually beneficial to rent condominiums or travel at discounted rates.
  • CTC acts only as a reservation service to help facilitate travel and condominiums and expressly disclaims and shall be free from any and all responsibility or liability for any damages, acts, errors, omissions, injuries, losses, accidents, delays, neglect or default of any person or entity providing any accommodations, travel services or related services due to any cause whatsoever occurring out of this agreement or members’ use of the participating condominium resorts, travel services or related services.
  • CTC’s liability to member is expressly limited to refund of the annual membership fee, and CTC shall not be held responsible for the membership cost, telephone costs, taxi fares, travel costs to and from accommodations, costs of a personal nature while on vacation, fees charged by service providers used by CTC to secure reservations, or any other damages, expenses or liabilities of any kind, whatsoever, including without limit actual, direct or consequential, whether foreseeable or not.
  • Although CTC does research the properties to try to insure that members will be booked into quality accommodations and vacations. CTC does not own or control or assume any liability for any of the vacation properties, travel suppliers or related products and services provided by or through its program. CTC does not assume responsibility for any of the properties or travel companies member may use. Variations in accommodations resort amenities and vacations may be experienced.
  • To insure the integrity and quality of membership, CTC reserves the right to change the rules, procedures, benefits and/or fees charged for use of the CTC program.
  • CTC does not assume responsibility for any verbal agreements between member and a CTC licensee or representative. This Agreement and all supplements hereto contain the entire understanding between CTC and member, and supersedes all prior and contemporaneous agreements and understandings, express or implied, oral or written. This Agreement may not be modified or amended other than by an agreement in writing signed by both parties.
  • This Agreement will be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the substantive laws of the State of New York without reference to its conflicts of law principles. The parties agree to not commence any lawsuit pertaining to any matter arising under this Agreement in any location or jurisdiction other than New York State. The parties agree that Monroe County, New York shall be the exclusive venue. Should member bring an action against CTC and not prevail, member shall pay CTC’s reasonable attorney’s fees and costs, including attorney’s fees to enforce this provision. This section shall survive termination of this Agreement.
  • CTC is not a participant in the California Travel Consumer Restitution Corporation. California law requires certain sellers of travel to have a Trust account or bond. Condominium Travel Club Inc. has a bond issued by Western Surety Company in the amount of $5,000 in the State of California and $10,000 in the State of Florida.

Condominium Access

Access to private time-share condominium units is made possible through your membership with CTC. Reservations must be made for one (1) week at a time and limited to the number of weeks described in the membership agreement. Check-in dates are set by the individual resort and usually occur on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday. A completed “Request Form” must accompany each week requested. Once time is confirmed on a weekly basis, you have purchased that time and it is non-refundable. Reservations for condominiums are made on a space available basis. Only members may use accommodations purchased through CTC.

 

Rental Fees

Up to ½ off the public rate, as stated online or posted on our Hot Weeks.

 

Form of Payment

We require a guaranteed form of payment at the time of booking. We accept checks, money orders and Major Credit Cards only. All checks must be payable in U.S. Funds, and must be stated as such on an out-of-country check.

 

Things You Need to Know When using a Request Form

1) All Request Forms must be submitted in writing, emailed, mailed or faxed to our office. They are available from our office or online. .2) We will verify receipt of your request via e-mail or phone call. 3) In order to provide you with the best and most efficient service… Please do not call us continually to check the status of your request. If you have not heard from us it simply means we are still working on your request. Remember it is a complicated process not a simple reservation service like booking a hotel room.

If you can no longer wait and need to make other plans, just call us to cancel your request. We will keep your request open unless we hear from you to cancel the request. 4) A representative will call you when your request is confirmed. Extra fees (if any) will be explained to you such as all-inclusive fees, local taxes, utility surcharges, security deposits, or special service fees charged by the resorts. 5) Remember, once your reservation is confirmed, there will be no opportunities for refunds. Therefore, when making a request, be sure it is where and when you want to travel. If you need to cancel, be sure to do so before we call with a confirmed request.

 

Requests

We will take phone, email or fax requests. We require you to follow up your phone request by sending us a signed Request Form by mail or fax or a completed request form online. When calling in a request, we need to know all information filled out on your request form. We will not confirm your request until we receive your Request Form.

 

Flexibility

It is important to be flexible when making a request. Do not limit your request to one resort, one area or one particular week. This will only limit your chances for a successful vacation and you may find that we cannot fulfill your request. We cannot guarantee a particular request will be fulfilled; requests will be filled on a space available basis.

 

Plan Ahead

You may place your request 3 days to 1 year in advance of your anticipated travel dates. The more lead time you give your vacation request, the better chances of being confirmed. If you must vacation on Holidays, please plan ahead 6 months to 1 year, especially for prime summer or winter vacation destinations. This is the period of greatest demand.

 

Confirmation

Written confirmation will be sent out. All pertinent information for you to contact the accommodation(s) is furnished on the confirmation. All confirmations are final, non-transferable and non-refundable. Only those named on the confirmation may occupy the accommodations. There is a fee to change name after confirmation. When we call you with a confirmation of an accomodation(s), we have obtained that facility for you and you only. If it is what you requested, it is yours and you have purchased a vacation. If it is an alternative accommodation area other than submitted, you have the right to accept or decline the confirmation. If transportation or other services are cancelled by the seller of travel, all sums paid to the seller of travel for services not performed in accordance with the contract between the seller of travel and the purchaser will be refunded within thirty days of receiving the funds from the vendor with whom the services were arranged, or if the funds were not sent to the vendor, the funds shall be returned within fourteen days after cancellation by the seller of travel to the purchaser unless the purchaser requests the seller of travel to apply the money to another travel product and/or date. Once a request has been confirmed as you requested, verbally or in writing, the fees charged are non-refundable. Confirmations will be sent First Class via U.S. Mail. These documents will be mailed to the address given on the request form. We can have your documents delivered by an express mail company for an additional fee. We will not assume the responsibility for documents not received due to failure of the U.S. Postal Service.

 

Guests’ Responsibilities

The member will be responsible for any damage, abuse or vandalism to any room, condo-apartment, common area, etc. caused by the member or guest except for normal wear and tear. Resort facilities, amenities and services vary by country, location and resort. Room accommodations vary in size, decor and interior detail. Members must abide by the rules and regulations of the resort they are visiting. All resorts insist that a responsible adult (over age 25 for condominiums) is responsible for any charges incurred at the individual resorts. New reservations will not be confirmed if there are outstanding charges from previous vacations.

 

How Condominium Resorts Operate

Some of our inventory of rental weeks comes from timeshare owners turning in their owned weeks for other vacations. We have no control over which resorts, destinations or dates are going to be relinquished by an owner. We use a network of brokers that keeps track of all inventory in particular areas and resorts. As inventory becomes available, we confirm your request.

 

Airline Travel

Please be careful when purchasing penalty type tickets to a requested destination before your vacation request is confirmed. If you decide to do so, please make alternate hotel reservations that you will be happy with for your requested dates. We cannot be held responsible if you purchase a non-refundable or other penalty type ticket to a destination before your vacation request is confirmed.
